We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and skilled Quality Engineer / Manager to join our client based in Letchworth.
Successful candidate will take control of Quality Management System and will be responsible for the quality of products and packaging being received, processed and dispatched.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Monitor operational compliance to the QMS Ensuring the company’s compliance to ISO 9001:2015
- • Internal auditing of the Quality Management System
- • External supplier audits
- • Management of writing and controlling all works procedures, specifications, forms and controlled documents
- • Oversee the Non-Conformance process to address and resolve issues effectively.
- • Resolving supplier quality problems with the Quality Assurance and Control teams
- • Process improvement projects
- • Training of employees on Quality Control or Assurance related matters
- • Assist in diagnosing and addressing material defect issues in collaboration with suppliers and customers
- • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- • Create and manage Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance.
- • New product development
Skills & Experience Required:
- • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
- • Extensive working knowledge of ISO 9001.
- • Solid background in Quality Engineering or Quality Management.
- • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Products.
- • Strong organizational skills to manage personal and team deadlines effectively.
- • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
- • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- • Proven record of improvement in company quality performance
