Warehouse Administrator – Letchworth

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to join our client based in Letchworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the warehouse operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and maintaining accurate records and inventory levels.   • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Provide administrative support to the warehouse team, including responding to emails, and resolving customer inquiries
  • • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
  • • Process and track shipments, including preparing and printing shipping labels, tracking numbers, and ensuring timely delivery
  • • Manage inventory control systems, including physical counts, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments
  • • Perform daily tasks such as monitoring inventory levels, reporting discrepancies, and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • • Assist in the coordination of warehouse operations, including scheduling deliveries, picking and packing orders, and managing warehouse space
  • • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures
  • • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to inventory, shipping, and customer service
  • • Develop and maintain reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, fill rates, and shipping accuracy
  • • Perform other administrative tasks as required, such as data entry, filing, and document management Requirements:
  • • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or administrative role
  • • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • • Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Sage200) is beneficial but full training will be given.
